A leading Software Consultancy based in the City Centre of Manchester are looking for a Head of Service Management to work on several exciting projects, with great career progression and a range of benefits on offer.


They are ideally looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager/Head of Service Management to head up the Service Management function who can drive performance, boost standards and develop a team to reach their potential. This person will need to be passionate about providing great customer service, managing a team and delivering successfully on customer requirements.



  • Ensuring the Service Management function is delivered to the highest quality
  • Delivering excellent customer satisfaction and service levels across all service management functions
  • Developing and delivering a service improvement plan that boost standards across the board
  • Leading and developing a team to drive performance
  • Performing regular reviews and maintenance of service level targets, proposing changes and providing direction to the team to improve the service management function



  • Demonstrable experience of successful service management and service improvement
  • Proven leadership and people management skills – performance management, coaching etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement ability
  • Experience and understand of delivering end to end support of enterprise-wide IT solutions
  • Analytical thinker with a strong attention to detail, able to use data to drive service improvement
  • Demonstrable ability in resource management, workload prioritisation and budget management
  • ITIL qualified to Practitioner or Manager level and solid understand of all core processes
