A medium sized Pharmaceuticals company is looking for a SIAM consultant to help apply a new operating model methodology. The goal will be to capture a supply chain view of the delivery of services with the focus of delivery on business value, enabling clients to achieve their business objectives and operational excellence in service delivery.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Initiate workshops to inform clients about SIAM market trends and developments
  • Assess existing operating models
  • Develop the future strategy
  • Take a lead role in designing the Target operating model
  • Work on process design and implementation
  • Produce ITSM tooling solutions and design and implement
  • Lead SIAM business development activities, workshops and client engagements against agreed statements of work
  • Support internal SIAM practice development activities

 

Skills and Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs of recent SIAM consulting or delivery experience; developing or delivering complex operational solutions including shared and business services.
  • Good understanding of the sourcing industry, ideally sourcing advisory experience or hands – on experience in delivering within a multi-sourced environment (client or Provider-side).
  • Expert experience in either IT, HR, Finance, Accounting or Procurement required, experience in multiple areas a plus.
  • Deep competency in the following key SIAM disciplines:
    • Supplier/Provider Management
    • Service Lifecycle Management
    • ITSM Tooling Solutions
    • Business Relationship Management
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
  • Business development and sales experience (Director/Principal Consultant) including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal writing, sales calls and sales support.
